Cheyenne Sawyer is a true tattoo visionary. He was already a printmaker and painter and had attended art school in Portland by the time he started tattooing in 1993. Cheyenne worked in various shops in and around Portland before opening Thunderbird in 2020. His truly innovative style is a blend of time-honored tattoo traditions, Native American decorative arts, and a dynamic approach to lines, shading, and colors. He has a wife, two beautiful daughters, and a lot to say on the subject of global corporate conspiracies.
